http://www.myspace.com/festival_latour_de_france The music festival in Latour de France is essentially a classical music festival. However, a great variety of musical styles are represented: classical to contemporary music, opera, sacred music but also jazz, gospel or world music.
It takes place in different places in the village either outdoors at the Théâtre de Verdure or in the Castle's courtyard or indoors in the chuch Notre Dame des Anges or in the beautiful concert and exhibition hall Martin Vivès. The final performance is held in Rivesaltes, Pyrénées Orientales, at the Domaine de Rombeau in the rooms built in the former cellars of this ancestral domain.
We are supported -and we are very proud of it- by the great French tenor Michel Sénéchal who directed the music school at the Opéra de Paris for 14 years and who attended the festival in 2009 and wishes to come back this year.
